Portfolios and photo’s….

Posted by freshagents on May 3, 2007

Whatever you do, don’t let anyone try and talk you into paying vast sums of cash for new photo’s… it’s true to say that decent images are important and can make a big difference as to what your put forward for and who accepts you for representation, but an agency can tell from a simple snap shot if you have what it takes, then if you do want to have some decent images taken, most agencies can put you in touch with a reputable, affordable photographer so speak to them first….

We use Ian Parsons Photography at White Point Studios, click here to see his stuff, he only charges £91.99 and you get the CD with all the images to take away with you, none of this pay per photo rubbish!

Applying to an Agency

Posted by freshagents on May 3, 2007

Email your images in if you can, the images always look better in digital… include your contact details, your height, your body measurements ie hips, waist, leg etc… and date of birth.

Agencies receive many applications every day, so don’t be surprised if you don’t hear anything for a while…. I’d give it at least 3 weeks before you start chasing… be patient!
